The Operation Arrow was created to honor one of Canada’s most famous and conspiracy-riddled aeronautical achievements, the Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow. It was a military aircraft designed and built in Canada, capable of reaching Mach 2 speeds and developed to intercept Soviet nuclear bombers during the Cold War. It debuted in 1957 with the promise to put Canada at the forefront of military aviation technology, but the program was canceled just two years later under Prime Minister John Diefenbaker, with all prototypes and production lines destroyed.
This a box-pressed torpedo is a medium to full-bodied, and features an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over both Nicaraguan binder and filler. Operation Arrow is made at the La Zona Cigar Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, and is limited to 4,500 cigars, which are being released in 10 count bundles.
