XX Gratus Pipe Tobacco is truly an unique pipe tobbaco blend, it was developed in collaboration with Master Blender Jeremy Reeves. As with the CXX Gratus cigar, this blend began with Dark Fired Kentucky as the focus. From there, they set out to create a blend that would surprise and delight. There goal was to use the rich barbecue character of Dark Fired Kentucky with the natural plum and fig notes on the initial impression, followed by waves of evolving flavour and complexity.

Virginia, Burley, and Dark Fired Kentucky tobaccos were combined with Perique, Turkish small-leaf tobacco, and a touch of Black Cavendish to bring this vision to life. Each of the component tobaccos was crafted and aged, blended, pressed into a plug, aged again and sliced.
