The Hemingway Short Story is a cigar that pays homage to one of Cuba's most celebrated authors, whose works inspired the Fuente family to change the cigar world forever.
In 1998, Carlos Fuente Sr. discovered a collection of old Perfecto molds in a warehouse in Florida. With the vitola having largely fallen out of favor since the 1920s and 30s. That discovery led to Hemingway Short Story Cigars that are still produced at the Arturo Fuente Cigar Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
The Short Story, is made with a tapered foot. This sets the standard for medium-bodied cigars and perfecto cigars alike. Wrapped using a Cameroon leaf, and both Dominican binder and filler, this cigar offers creamy notes of vanilla, brown sugar, nuts and coffee.
