1792 Flake is a full-bodied, mellow blend of dark-fired Tanzanian leaf, which is Gawith's most popular premium grade flake. The process involves up to 7 lbs. of hand stripped leaf, that is steamed and pressed into a 12 inch square cake. Then it is baked in a steam press for 2-3 hrs., after that it is cooled, before cutting and adding Tonquin flavor. Thus, a rich, dark colored tobacco is ready for rubbing into your pipe.
