The Rocky Patel DBS is short for double broadleaf selection, a reference to the two distinct types of broadleaf incorporated into the blend, though not for the wrapper, which is a Mexican San Andrés varietal. This gem speaks for itself. It starts off with rich and vibrant notes of wood, a decent amount of black pepper and some earth interwoven between them. You can find subtle hints of maple syrup on the finish.
