This cigar uses a rare tobacco called Bragança that is organically grown in the Amazon rainforest and harvested just once every three years and rolled into tubes for a fermentation period that takes up to six months, before the tobacco leaves the rainforest.
Wrapped in Ecuadorian Sumatra, with a Nicaraguan binder, this blend features fillers of the Brazilian Bragança tobacco from the rainforest, along with Colombian and Dominican tobaccos. The CAO Amazon Basin is a medium to full bodied cigar that has a unique look to it. Instead of the topical wrapper band, this cigar has a vine wrapped around the cigar four times.
Notes of earth & fruit can be found at the beginning and a pleasant creamy taste throughout the second and third portions of the cigar can be found on the finish.
