A box-pressed cigar enrobed in a dark, veiny wrapper. It starts spicy and leathery but develops a pleasant char as it smokes, leading to a cocoa powder finish.
Matilde Quadrata is the box press line in our family. The combination of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco gives this cigar a perfect balance of body and flavor with a long nutty finish.
This Toro starts off with notes of earth, leather, cream, green grapes, and peanut butter. It concludes with subtle hints of gingerbread, earth, cream, and meat. Retrohaling brings forth earthly undertones of cinnamon, leather, cream, and mild white pepper.
