CLE stands for Eiroa’s initials (his middle name is Luís) and the first cigar to come from his new venture will be the CLE. A small-production brand, CLE will be rolled in a familiar spot for Eiroa, the Tabacos Ranchos Jamastran factory in Honduras where Camacho cigars are made. (Eiroa owns the factory with his father and sold the Camacho Brand to the Davidoff group in 2008)
This cigar is full-bodied, with notes of chocolate, black pepper, and leather. Its blend is composed of a Nicaraguan binder and filler, that is covered with a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper. Handmade in Nicaragua, the CLE Prieto Toro has a classic look and feel that will attract contemporary as well as traditional smokers.
